With the Charge My EV app, Bosch offers a flexibly customizable solution for charging electric vehicles. It gives users access to the Bosch charging network and its more than 650,000 public charging points throughout Australia. Vehicle manufacturers, mobility providers, and businesses can adapt the app to suit their requirements and to offer it to their customers and employees as their own service solution. Branding, functionality, and price models are customizable. Drivers of electric vehicles can download the app free of charge and can use it without being tied to a contract or having to pay a base fee. All that is needed is a one-time registration and an electronic payment method. The users’ smartphone subsequently provides them with a convenient way of finding charging stations and checking the availability of the charging points. Charging sessions can be started and paid for via the app, RFID, or locally available methods – all very easily and with a high level of transparency.

Finding the optimal charging point whenever needed
In the app, users can have all the public charging points displayed on the map and can further refine their search by entering an address or filtering by price, availability or charging power. In future it will also be possible to reserve charging points in advance. In addition, relevant points of interest located around the charging point can optionally be displayed in the app too, so users can visit them if they wish while their vehicle in charging.
Convenient navigation directly to the charging point
After users have selected the desired charging point, they can enjoy the convenience of being guided directly to its location by the vehicle’s navigation system, which integrates seamlessly with the app.
Start charging with just the tap of a finger
Once they arrive at the selected charging point, users can control all aspects of the charging process in the smartphone app or via the vehicle display. Starting or stopping the charging process is possible at any time. The app’s timer function provides users with a timely reminder about the end of the charging time.
Seamlessly integrated charging and payment
At the end of the charging session, payment is carried out automatically in the background using popular means of payment like credit cards.

App users can view their charging history at any time in the integrated logbook, where they will find an overview of previous charging processes, costs incurred, and services used.
